Campaign for a Fair Society
On Monday Robert Simpson, one of the LDAS trustees travelled to Londong to launch the UK Manifestor for the Campaign for a Fair Society. This is his report.
UK Manifesto Launch – London
On Monday 12th March 2012, Myself ( Robert Simpson – Secretery), Norma Curran – Chair, Paul Edwards – Vicechair and Paul McCann went to the uk manifesto Launch at The house of Lords in London.
There Were Speeches from Baroness Hollins, Simon Duffy – UK Chair, Kaliya Lyle. They told us about who the cuts will affect the most.
Pat Onions was also at the event who is currently running a petition to get the government to stop the cuts she is hoping to get 100,000 signatures if you can please sign the petition at http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/20968
